Cacoon, The Return to My Life
We watched Cacoon Last night..... it's been a LONG time since I've seen it, and I fell back in love with it all over again. I adore watching those fabulous octogenerians flipping around that pool! It breaks my heart when Rose dies and Bernie carries her over to the pool. I cried.....
Last weekend we watched Weird Science! Seriously, she was so hot. That scene where she reams out his parents cracks me up every time. I also adore it when she tells the girls that they should shower with the boys if they get the chance. The look on their little faces. I love it.
We're on some kind of revival kick..... What 80's movies really do it for you?

What a great movie choice... now I need to watch it again. I don't remember it in great detail, I just remember that I loved it.
Sixteen Candles is my all time fave! I quote from it all the time :)
My daughter asked for 80's movies for her birthday. It was so much fun! Sixteen Candles, Say Anything, Breakfast Club, Some Kind of Wonderful, Top Gun - we had a ball watching them together. She laughed at the clothes and the hair in the movies but laughed much harder when we pulled out old photo albums to show her what WE looked like in those clothes and with that big hair. (Weirdly - I've never ever seen Cocoon! I totally forgot about it but now will have to Netflix it! Thanks E!)
